Elk Terrace is WONDERFUL! I could not believe how much of a good time myself and my family had. We have been visting the Benezette area for the last 7 years and this was BY FAR the best place to stay! I especially loved vising the meadow in the back and viewing the elk herd every day. We saw many including some real huge bulls. Night time around the campfire was fun as well while bugling back and forth with the elk and my bugle call. Hot tub was AWESOME and goes well with a glass of wine during the afternoon while looking out over the beautiful fall foilage. Thank you to all who made this lodge so wonderful to stay at. I can't wait until next year! I could stay for weeks if possible! |

Elk Terrance is a beautiful, relaxing place to observe the elk and other wildlife. My family and I enjoyed our three days away from the crazy people visiting the town and the viewing areas. We were in a gated peaceful environment with nature. We even enjoyed the bugling of the elk in our yard at 3 AM. Made for great tales when we got home. We came to hear the bugling and we did hear it, very close and very far away. Loved seeing all the elk and deer in the fields north of the lodge. Great place to stay and relax and the lodge is very welcoming. Thanks for keeping this piece of heaven secluded so the visitors can enjoy it without neighbors and noise. |

A group of 8 went, great weekend. so pretty, one elk in the yard. it has everything you need. we had a great time. hot tub wasa amazing it was 32 degrees out and we were warm in the hot tub. no one really around so you can saty up late and have fun. NO cell phones give loced ones the number to the lodge to get you.. great trip for the money. |

I visited Elk Terrace last year I was there for Chrismas.It was amasing I loved every minute of it.I wish to return next summer I did not see any elk but the snow made my visit all worth it I love the snow but I dont really get any in Virginia. |

Elk Terrace was an awsome place to take our young chidlren. The lodge is wonderfull and the wildlife is abundent. we saw 100+ during our week stay. We also saw many deer and a bear. It was well worth the long drive. Thanks again! |

Elk Terrace Lodge is beautiful! Our group of 6 adults and a baby stayed here for two nights and we were very comfortable. We saw about 6 elk on Saturday morning in the front yard. Benezette is a great place to visit for a relaxing weekend! |

This was a very realaxing trip!!! it slept 5 of us perfectly! very home like feeling clean, neat, nicely decorated!! we had alot of fun I wrote in the log book!! We saw about 50+ elk driving to town to the little store the people there are very pleasant!! we will be back even though its a 5 1/2 hour drive from home its well worth it and plan to make the trip again!! Awesome might be a good place to start with time my son and I had at the lodge! The view,the camp,the appointments...nothing was missing! We saw 5 elk the first day, and nearly 40 the second.What a treat to drive back to the lodge on Wed eve only to see a cow and her small calf in the driveway! Thank you sooo much for a most pleasant stay,and we will be back...with mom this time! |

For the nature lover this place is a little piece of heaven on earth! The scenery from the front porch was awesome! The lodge was beautifully decorated and clean. We had a herd of elk with their calves in the yard one evening that had our hearts pounding with excitement. Long walks in the woods, cooking on the grill for dinner, relaxing in the hot tub at night. It doesn't get any better. We came home and immediate reserved next September for rut. Love it, Love it, love it!!!! |

My husband and I loved it here. The view and peace and quiet were wonderful. The house was so nice and it was fun to see elk for the first time. Highly recommend !!! |
